We care about “our” regions. One of them is the Horná Nitra region, where our company VOP Nováky has been based since 1935. The hospital with a polyclinic Prievidza, based in Bojnice, now has new equipment for almost 25 thousand EUR. It was personally handed over to them by the CEO of VOP Nováky – Zuzana Helbichová.
What can these instruments do? Thanks to the new tonometer, which is used to measure intraocular pressure, patients will be examined in a non-contact method, without the risk of transmitting infection and the need to use local anaesthesia. The second device went to the gynecology and obstetrics section. It is a wireless monitoring of the baby before its birth. Mothers-to-be can thus move freely around the department, with nurses keeping an eye on them at all times. Once again, we have been able to support a project that makes sense and improves the lives of the people in the regions where we operate.
