MSM GROUP will be in Hall D, stand 101, with the largest stand at this year’s fair. It occupies 600 m² spread over two floors. In addition to the interior, where we will present our portfolio of artillery, mortar and tank ammunition, we will also be present in the outdoor area. The production and innovation company VÝVOJ Martin, which is part of the MSM GROUP, will bring a special container and the DISK 2 mobile air control tower.
The life cycle of ammunition in our own hands
What makes MSM GROUP different from other ammunition manufacturers in the world? The MSM GROUP represents four significant manufacturing companies with a long tradition in the defence industry. They cover the whole ammunition life cycle. From in-house development, production and sales, to ammunition modernisation, the extension of the technical life of ammunition and environmental disposal. In addition, the holding also includes VÝVOJ Martin, which specialises in the development and production of defence and civil equipment. Their portfolio is dominated by special containers, mobile air control towers or radar towers.
The professional and general public will be able to see, for example, ammunition for 30 mm calibre cannons, 105 mm and 120 mm calibre tank ammunition meeting NATO standards or 125 mm calibre ammunition suitable for the so-called Eastern Standard equipment. We will also display artillery ammunition of 105 mm and 155 mm NATO calibre and 122 mm calibre for older non-NATO artillery systems.
In addition, training ammunition for tanks and artillery will be presented, as well as mortar ammunition of 60 mm, 81 mm, 98 mm, 120 mm calibre and unguided 122 mm Grad rockets. The exhibition will also include pyrotechnic components and fuses needed for the production of ammunition. In the outdoor exhibition, it will also be possible to see the command post located in a specialised container, as well as the mobile control tower for the Disk 2 field airfield produced by VÝVOJ Martin, which also belongs to the MSM GROUP.
Side programme
The Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic will show visitors demonstrations of close combat and crowd control. The Military Police of the Ministry of Defence will demonstrate how to take action against dangerous offenders, the Mountain Rescue Service will show how to search for a missing person, and the Fire Brigade of the Slovak Republic will show how they fight with the leakage of a dangerous substance and decontamination of the intervening personnel.
