A new season has begun

The new biathlon season 2024/2025 has started successfully and we are convinced that Slovak biathletes have something to show in the international competition. Both the current and the new generation of talents will be supported by a new strong partner of Slovak biathlon – MSM GROUP. We will follow the performance of our competitors not only as the main partner, whose logo will be placed on the jerseys. Also this season, in cooperation with Slovak Biathlon, we have prepared the MSM STRELEC competition for them.

Biathlon is the most successful Olympic winter sport in the world and Slovakia is also successfully represented in it. When we announced our cooperation, we said that we wanted to be an active partner and actively support our biathlon talents. And this is what we are doing.

Competition MSM STRELEC 24/25

Mastery of the shot is a prerequisite for success in biathlon. To motivate our competitors as much as possible, we have decided to reward the best shooters. We want the athletes to feel that we are behind them and care about their success. We have prepared motivational competitions for the best shooters. We managed to organise the first round of this competition at the end of last season. The six most accurate competitors of the new generation were rewarded and we distributed the sum of 2,000 euros among them. The same competition awaits the athletes this time. We are increasing the prize money to 2,500 euros, which will again be shared by the six best shooters.

Vision 2030

A new generation of biathlon talent has launched an ambitious vision called Vision 2030. Its aim is to support and work with the youth so that Slovakia is represented at the 2030 Olympic Games by full-fledged men’s and women’s relay teams, with one of them finishing in the top 10. “This is not an attempt to revive Slovak biathlon. It is a vision to achieve the 2030 goals. We are not denying the generational change we are currently experiencing. The new generation cannot attack the top ranks this season. But we are doing our best so that in the next seasons they can achieve results on the level of the Fialka sisters,” said Peter Vozár, President of the Slovak Biathlon Association.

To achieve this vision, Slovak biathlon needs good coaches, which they see in former national team members and strong partners. “I am very happy that we have gained the trust of a strong partner who will be a great asset for Slovak biathlon. The support of MSM GROUP will be directed to the youth and the national team with the aim of fulfilling our Vision 2030,” said Peter Vozár after the conclusion of the cooperation. Michal Fúrik, MSM GROUP’s Director of Marketing and Communications, is also positive about the cooperation. “We are proud to be part of a bold vision that supports a talented new generation of biathletes. At the same time, we are aware that in order to achieve the ambitious goals of the Slovak biathlon, we need the help of the private sector in addition to public funds.”
