The STARS FOR CHILDREN charity event is the largest of its kind in Slovakia. This is the 16th edition of the event, during which a record amount of money was raised. Our non-profit organization MSM FOR PEOPLE and MSM GROUP, as the main partners, were there again this year.
In addition to the traditional sports festival and many attractions, a charity run was once again on the agenda. Celebrities such as Zdeno Chára and Pavol Regenda were joined by amateur runners who donated the proceeds to those most in need.
STARS FOR CHILDREN is not just a one-day event where a few famous athletes come together to run and play football. It’s a project with a long-term mission to help. The money raised, which this year topped €30,000, goes to children and families who are less fortunate than the rest of us.
MSM GROUP and our non-profit organisation MSM FOR PEOPLE were once again partners of this very popular event. Children were able to try their hand at floorball, basketball, boccia and various Paralympic sports. But the main attraction was, is and always will be the celebrities, especially those from the world of sport. Visitors did not hesitate to wait in long queues to get autographs from those who are their role models and motivate them to take up sport.
